POLLN8 is a calm pollinator meadow game for phones and tablets. It is designed to let you guide a bee, wake flowers, discover pollinators, and learn about pollination through touch.

We built POLLN8 to be privacy-respecting, family-safe, and free of accounts, ads, public posting, leaderboards, and social features.

Information we do not collect

POLLN8 does not require an account. It does not ask for or intentionally collect:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number
  • your contacts
  • your photos or videos
  • microphone recordings
  • camera access
  • payment card information
  • advertising identifiers
  • social media accounts
  • chat messages
  • public posts

POLLN8 does not include third-party advertising. Because POLLN8 does not collect personal information, there is none to sell.

On-device game information

POLLN8 may save small amounts of game information on your device so the meadow can remember your play experience. This may include:

  • meadow progress
  • field-guide discoveries
  • daily meadow state
  • sound preference
  • local settings
  • returning-meadow memories

This information is intended to stay on your device. It is used to make the game feel continuous between visits.

Weather and atmosphere

POLLN8 shapes the meadow’s weather and atmosphere entirely from a daily simulation generated on your device. It does not request location permission and does not call any weather service.

Children and families

POLLN8 is designed to be family-friendly. The app does not include third-party ads, public chat, social feeds, public profiles, user-generated content uploads, leaderboards, or account registration.

Analytics and crash reporting in the app

The POLLN8 app does not include third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools.

This website

This policy covers both the POLLN8 app and this website at polln8.me. The two are separate: the privacy practices described above apply to the app, while this section covers the website.

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed and where visitors arrive from. Google Analytics is loaded with consent mode: until you accept, it runs without storing analytics cookies or identifiers on your device. You can accept or decline analytics from the banner shown on your first visit, and declining leaves analytics off. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, ad personalization, or Google Signals, and the app itself uses none of this.

Purchases

POLLN8 is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Purchases are handled by the app store provider. POLLN8 does not directly receive or store your payment card information.

Network access

The core meadow experience works as a bundled app without an account or a hosted gameplay server. Network access may be used for app store purchase and installation services, and for future support or update-related links.

Permissions

POLLN8 does not require location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or motion sensor permissions.

Your choices

You can play without creating an account, keep sound muted, and remove the app from your device to remove locally stored game information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as POLLN8 changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
